NOIR.

I have created a vintage brand called NOIR. The handpicked pieces are an ode to the simplistic, chic French Girl Style, think pencil skirts, oversized blazers, and statement earrings. I created NOIR. because of my love for all things vintage and I meticulously handpicked each piece. I am asked about my clothes quite often and many of them are vintage. So, I came up with the idea to share the vintage pieces I find when traveling all over the world. NOIR. was created! The collections are high-end picks in perfect condition. One of my favorite things about vintage is that the pieces are all one of a kind. None of us has the exact same style but there is a piece in the collection for every girl. I also love the sustainability factor when it comes to vintage. We all greatly benefit from an environmental standpoint when we choose vintage. […]

A PR Girl’s Nighttime Routine

A PR girl is typically busy throughout the day and a night of great sleep is super important. Sleep rejuvenates you. I am a big sleeper and I believe my nighttime routine is the reason I sleep so soundly. I want to share my nighttime routine with all of you. Like my morning routine, my nighttime routine sets me up for what is next. Relaxing is part one and then I aim for inspiration. The ultimate goal is to change your mindset before you fall asleep.  So, charge your cell in another room and get started! This is how I – Relax. Meditate. Drink tea. Read a girly book. (Two suggestions – I love Bridgett Jone’s Diary and The Carrie Diaries.) This is how I – Get Inspired. Cut things that I love out of old magazines. Write a gratitude list. Write a goal list for the next day. Read […]

Emails – Old School or New Necessity?

In the past few months, I’ve been talking a lot about the value of brand emails. I get asked often, is sending an email an old school way to communicate?! No way! There is a huge benefit to regularly reaching out to your community. With regular emails as a brand, you remain at your community’s top of mind. Isn’t that the goal? Let’s talk specifics –   Why send an email? Who should get an email?  An email reminds people that your client’s brand is there! Clients, customers, followers, and subscribers should be on your email list. They would all be interested in what is happening with your client’s brand.   What kind of information should be captured in a brand email? A weekly email from your client’s brand including brand news, collection launches, events, openings, and parties are a starting point. Things to come, updates and brand information are […]

A Tip! – Get The Coverage You Want.

Working with fashion and art leaders (influencers) is one of my favorite parts of PR. I get to expose them to new brands, I get to know them better and I get to create moments for everyone in the room. What is better than an unforgettable moment?! I create tipcards for my private client events. Tipcards are super mini versions of tipsheets. They share the exact information that you hope to relay about the brand in a succinct and stylish way. Giving fashion and art leaders direction as it relates to coverage is huge. Gently guiding your contacts in the right direction is a sure way to get the actual coverage you want. What would you love for them to focus on? Include that on your tipcard. Have a conversation with your client around expectations. What would success look like as it relates to social coverage? What kind of reach would be a major win? […]
